Vuestra respuesta a esta X edición de los Premios Jerry Goldsmith ha sido abrumadora. A todos vosotros, ¡muchas gracias!

Debido a todas las noticias sobre el Festival aparecidas en los últimos días, sabemos que algunos de vosotros podía no tener claro si los premios iban a celebrarse finalmente. Por ello queremos aprovechar la ocasión para recordaros que estos premios son parte de la web y de la Asociación BSOSpirit e independientes de la celebración del Festival.

Por ello os confirmamos que los premios VAN A CELEBRARSE.

Por las dudas que hayáis podido tener debido a dichas noticias, añadido a problemas técnicos sufridos en el email oficial de suscripción del Festival a causa del abrumador envío de solicitudes, la organización ha decidido:

1) Prolongar el periodo de presentación de solicitudes hasta el próximo martes 30 de junio (incluido). Con ello las fechas de estos premios quedarán cerradas de la manera siguiente:

FECHAS:

Límite de presentación de Trabajos: 23.59 horas del día 30 de Junio de 2015.

Límite de la Resolución del Jurado: 13 de Julio de 2015.

2) Informar de la posibilidad de presentar material preparado para web series. Es algo que no estaba contemplado a priori, pero que, tras diversas peticiones por diversos compositores la organización, ha decidido incluir dentro de la categoría «6. Mejor Banda Sonora Original para Televisión». Para ello se realizará una actualización de las normas en donde dicha categoría pasará a denominarse «6. Mejor Banda Sonora Original para Televisión o Serie». Esperamos que estos días adicionales os permitan preparar y presentar dicho material.

De nuevo, os reiteramos nuestro agradecimiento por vuestro apoyo y magnífico trabajo. En las próximas semanas, nos pondremos en contacto con todos aquellos compositores que se hayan presentado, para informaros de como se procederá a notificar a los nominados y ganadores en cada una de las categorías.

Your response to this X edition of the Jerry Goldsmith Awards has been overwhelming. To all of you, thank you very much!

Because of all the news about the festival that appeared in recent days, we know that some of you might not have a clear idea whether the awards would eventually take place. So we want to take this opportunity to remind you that celebration of these awards are part of the web and the Association BSOSpirit, as something independent from the Festival.

Therefore we can confirm that the awards WILL BE HELD.

Just in case that you were not able to send us your submission because of these news, added to technical problems experienced on the official subscription email of the awards due to the overwhelming sending requests, the organization has decided:

1) Extended time period for submitting applications until Tuesday 30 June (inclusive). Dates of these awards would be defined as follows:

DATES:

Deadline for works submission: 11:59 p.m. tuesday June 30, 2015.

Resolution limit for the Jury: July 13, 2015.

2) Inform you about the possibility of presenting material prepared for a web series. Something that was not considered previously. But after several requests through different composers the organization has decided to include them in the category «6. Best Original TV Score». We will do an update of the rules, in where that category will be renamed «6. Best Original Score for Television or a Series». We hope that these extra days will allow you to prepare and submit such material, if needed.

Again, reiterate our appreciation for your support and wonderful work. In the coming weeks, we will contact all composers who submitted, to inform you on how we will notify the nominees and winners in each category.
