La primera entrega de la banda sonora creada por Howard Shore para The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey tendrá dos ediciones de 2 CD, una de lujo y otra normal, según ha informado WaterTower Music. Ambas se lanzarán el 11 de diciembre, tres días antes del estreno mundial de la película de Peter Jackson.
La diferencia entre ambas es que la edición de lujo es más amplia, con más tracks que la normal (6 más si se incluyen los 4 bonus tracks exclusivos) y cortes que son versiones extendidas de mayor duración que los mismos títulos de la edición normal.
