La Asociacion BSOSpirit otorga anualmente los Premios Jerry Goldsmith, totalmente consolidados tras haber adquirido cierto renombre entre los creadores y los aficionados. Su objetivo es reconocer la labor de músicos que se están iniciando en el sector audiovisual (cine, televisión, publicidad u otro medio) o que, pese a disponer de una trayectoria profesional, no han obtenido el reconocimiento merecido.
En una primera fase, los participantes aportan sus creaciones para ser valoradas en las distintas categorías contempladas en las bases. Una segunda fase selecciona los candidatos finalistas. Y finalmente se anuncian los ganadores en cada uno de los apartados durante una ceremonia que tiene lugar en el marco de las actividades del Festival.
Los Premios Jerry Goldsmith se conceden en diez categorías -música en formato larga duración, corto de acción real, corto de animación, videojuego, documental, televisión, publicidad, promocional, canción y libre creación- y se han consolidado dentro del Festival al ser considerados por los compositores que se inician en este ámbito como una gran plataforma para aspirar al reconocimiento público, por el talento novel y las oportunidades laborales que ello conlleva.
Existe además un undécimo galardón para el mejor compositor. Aquí tenéis una lista de algunos de los premiados en las ediciones previas: Lucas Vidal, Zeltia Montes, Marc Vaillo, Zacarías M. de la Riva, Sergio de la Puente, Marc Timón, James Peterson, Stuart Hancock o Aritz Villodas, por citar solo algunos.

The Jerry Goldsmith Awards ,that are given annually by the BSOSpirit Asociation, are fully consolidated and having acquired some popularity among artists and fans. The aim of this competition is to recognize the work of musicians who are starting in the audiovisual sector (film, television, commercials and others) or despite having a career, have not received due recognition. In the first phase, participants bring their creations to be assessed in the different categories.
A second phase to select finalists . And finally the winners will be announced in each of the sections during a ceremony held in the framework of the activities of the Festival. The Jerry Goldsmith Awards are awarded in eight categories (music for a full-length duration, short live-action, short animation , documentary , commercials, promotional, song and free creation) consolidated within the Festival to be held by composers who are new to this area as a great platform for public recognition to the novel talent and the job opportunities that it entails.
There is also a eleventh award for best composer. These awards have helped launch the careers of several of its finalists and winners, such as Lucas Vidal, Zeltia Montes, Marc Vaíllo , Zacarias M. de la Riva, Sergio de la Puente, Marc Helm, James Peterson, Stuart Hancock or Aritz Villodas, to name a few.
